Flash "Unable to authenticate installer"

Having problem installing the Flash?

A lot of people do see Adobe's support forum
Adobe said try this http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer
For some people, it may due to incorrect permissions in the registry, as here

It does not work for me! if you did try everything else, here is the one that worked for me - Download the IE plugin directly from here instead of install it over the internet:

fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_active_x.msi

Thank you very much- it worked- much appreciated!

Just what I was looking for. None of the usual steps were working to resolve the "unable to initiate installer" error that the activeX installer on Adobe's site was returning. This msi worked without issue. Thanks.

It is not working for me. I followed the instructions to the "T". I even did it twice.
I noticed that the command line says.
